Wisconsin on Wednesday

A quick tour of the backyard around 2:00 and then it was back inside to the fireplace.

  1. Karen Taylor says:

Very cool, literally! Lines going in all directions of various textures. The browns and touch of gold is pretty. Defines the newness of the storm.

Only got halfway down my driveway. I’ll have to wait till my shoveler digs me out. How wonderful not to have to BE anywhere – but the snow is pretty glorious!

  3. Marjorie says:

Oh beauteous! Drive down Nicolet Dr. if you have not as yet and before wind takes the layers. Snowladen trees literally hug you as you take the through path.

  4. Jane Lurie says:

Love the contrasts, the vertcal and horizontal play especially in the first image. And, the simple comp of the broom. Lovely post!

    Wabi,
Same wabi that writes the lovely haiku or a different wabi?

Either way, I love these snow pics. They remind me of beautiful (and COLD) times from my Ohio childhood and of wabisabipoet’s haiku today.

    Keep warm.
