POTTER’S FIELD

Potter’s Field in Manitowoc County. In 1914 , 80 acres were set aside “as a free burial place for poor, destitute and unknown persons.”  The cemetery is also the final resting place for residents of the Manitowoc County Home for the Insane.

The last burials here were done in the early 1970’s.
