Bay Shipbuilding: Welding area.

These rows of neatly-coiled multi-colored hoses are physically beautiful with their various sizes and textures, but I also find their careful storage to be a thing of beauty as well.

Wabi Sabi’s default setting is Chaotic Swirl, so I am in awe of organized workspaces of any kind.  I’m not saying I can’t do it. I’m saying these are not natural instincts for me.

I am going on holiday for two weeks! I will only say that the view from my bedroom window will involve gargoyles and I have been carefully studying an article on “How to Order Coffee in France.” But that is all I’m going to say.

Going away for awhile does mean that I am going to put the Wabi Sabi blog in “sleep” mode for two or three weeks. I will be back at the end of May.

You KNOW I am going to miss everyone…but I will miss you most of all.

All the best Wabi Sabi. Safe travels. I shall miss you but await your return then must also take my leave. My PhD supervisors seem to be unhappy with my progress 😦

    • Thank you, Andy. You can still come by to visit, can’t you? I’d really hate to give up our spirited conversations!
So this is my idea: you crowd-source the research and some of the writing to your friends and family and you concentrate on preparing to defend your work. Then you can get back to what is really important–touring the countryside and taking pictures. 🙂

My wife has come up with a plan, whilst not quite as creative as yours, might get me over the line. That is “ration your time!!!!” Say once a week. My ambition is exactly that, tour the countryside and take pictures. I love our little conversations so at the very least I will bookmark you site and avoid the WP Reader.
