Such a contrast to Paris in the rain.

You capture the place and the mood so well. Wonderful photos!

  4. Lignum Draco says:

Nicely captured.Hope you weren’t too engrossed in your photography standing on that road.

  5. There is something quietly powerful about a rainy day in the city. Street photography and rainy days are like two lovers whispering in each others ears……looking through a window as the city is caressed clean by nature……I love rainy days in the city…..great images…..

    • I so agree. It’s a lot harder to get my urban on when I’m in Green Bay, so I was more than delighted by a rainy day in Milwaukee. Favorite rainy picture of all time? James Dean, coat collar up, walking in the rain in New York, cigarette.

      • James Dean in that image is superb…..I love the loneliness of a rainy day…..looking out the window from a messy bed…..staying in and drinking a warm cup of coffee and yes…..smoking a cigarette……you see what your images conjure up…..stories and tales that make me pause and dream…..glad you’re back.

My favorite image is “Bean Road”…. the rainy street with the model T cars by Walker Evans…..
