Yesterday’s ethereal beauty minus the glam, though she is still quite a looker.

As before, these were shot with my camera (Canon 60D) hand held, with a prime 60mm lens and an aperture setting of f2.8.

  1. Jane Lurie says:

Indeed she is, Patricia. Love the f2.8 effect. The last one is a unique stunner. Great light and clarity on all.

  2. Great set of images…….They feel so soft and alive……..

  3. Martygalllagher says:

    Golden shots, indeed!

  4. Jeanne says:

I covet your 60mm lens. These are great. I think you could have shot them in a state park? in Door Cty?

  5. adelekaye says:

Lovely….Imagine God taking the time to make each petal different, each flower a masterpiece for us to enjoy. Have you pictures of wild flowers? I think they are so beautiful waving at us from the side of the road.

    • Thank you–Queen Anne’s Lace carpets the field behind my house and it was a mission to photograph that flower that got me started on this series. And I have to move fast, because any space not occupied by QAL is filling rapidly with thistles.

  6. Schwister says:

Stunning! I appreciate your descriptions as well. I’m learning a lot from you.
