At some point during my rain shower photo shoot on Thursday, I decided to get down under the hostas, rather than shooting them from the top, resulting in a completely new perspective. And lots of wet clothing.

I’m more than a little disappointed in the neighbors and the people who drove by whilst I was shooting. One would think that the sight of a woman stretched out full length on a sidewalk would excite some curiosity or concern, but apparently here in the Town of Scott, the Rugged Individual is allowed to do his/her own thing without folks getting all judgy on them.

Between yum and frills and sensual. A great series!

  2. Jane Lurie says:

Oh yes. Sensual is the word. The gentle curves, tones and focal points are wonderful. Well done, Patricia.

    • Thanks, Jane. The curves were what had me going this time. And, I wanted to capture the unseen architecture of the inside of the plants.
Plus…once I was down there, it is soooo hard to get back up. Might as well shoot for a while. πŸ™‚

Not even a dog came to sniff if you were dead or alive?

    • The only dog around here is that savage beast across the street and had he come charging for me, I probably would have just died on the spot.
Of course, no one would have stopped then, either. πŸ™‚

Interesting change of perspective. So they didn’t judge you. Why does that disappoint you? I’d have at least waited for rigour mortis to set in before calling the police. πŸ™‚
